TREATMENT OPTIONS

Central Minnesota Retina Specialists provides specialty ophthalmology and eye surgery care. Whether you have already been diagnosed or are seeking medical evaluation, we are confident that we can provide the best vision care for your specialty needs.

Retinal
Detachment/Tear

For this serious condition, swift medical attention is key. Dr. Reynolds will use today's most advanced treatment methods to care for the affected eye.

Diabetic
Retinopathy

For those living with diabetes, we can provide essential yearly eye exams to help detect retinopathy and monitor for progression to help protect your vision.

Macular Hole

In the early stages of a macular hole, your central vision may become distorted or blurred. This condition may require surgery to avoid vision-impairing complications as the condition progresses.

Retinal Vein Occlusion

A retinal vein occlusion can occur when a vein in the retina becomes blocked. Risk factors include high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, and more.

Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD)

Symptoms associated with posterior vitreous detachment include seeing flashes and/or floaters.  It is important to be seen for a dilated exam if these symptoms occur.

Macular Pucker/Epiretinal Membrane (ERM)

An epiretinal membrane can cause blurred vision and distortion in vision.  Depending on your findings and symptoms, surgery may be considered.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

Macular Degeneration is when the central part of the retina, the macula, is damaged.  This can lead to blurred vision, loss of fine detail and needing ample light to see.  Whether you need ongoing exams for your macular degeneration, or are looking to discuss your treatment options, we are here to help.
